This DELTARUNE locations list covers every major place Kris and friends visit — from Castle Town to the Cyber City, across the Light World and the Dark Worlds.
Dark World
A Dark World is an alternate reality inhabited by Darkners . Dark Worlds are brought into existence by Dark Fountains and exist within various areas of Hometown /the "Light World". Dark Worlds are where the majority of Deltarune takes place.
Card Kingdom
Card Kingdom is the Dark World located in the unused classroom of Hometown 's school . It is the primary setting of Chapter 1 of Deltarune .
Card Castle
Card Castle is Card Kingdom 's final area in Chapter 1 of Deltarune . It is located at the end of Forest , and is the home of King and Lancer . It has multiple floors, and contains two prisons that can be accessed via the far-right elevator on Floor 1F . It also houses the Eastern Fountain , which was created by the Knight . In the unused classroom , it is represented by a closet, although the closet has three racks rather than the six floors Card Castle has. Enemies that patrol here approach to begin an encounter . However, they do not approach again once they are SPAREd .
Castle Town
Castle Town , officially the Kingdom of Darkness , is a location within the closet Dark World in Deltarune . It houses Ralsei's castle and the Grand Fountain . It is unique in its ability to host Darkners from other Dark Worlds . Initially, Ralsei is the only inhabitant. At the start of Chapter 2 , Kris transfers residents of Card Kingdom to Castle Town. With the town populated and transformed, the name in the SAVE point and the theme changes to My Castle Town . Gathering recruits can unlock new activities and alter Castle Town's theme in later Chapters . Although called a kingdom, Castle Town is ruled by Ralsei, who is a prince. A Cuptain suggests that the definition of kingdoms in Deltarun
Field
of Deltarune . It has a sublocation named the Great Board , which has its own design and Darkners . In the unused classroom , this area is represented by the large purple rug.
Cliffs
Cliffs is a location within Flower Kingdom in Chapter 5 of Deltarune .
Cyber World
The Cyber World is the Dark World located in the library 's computer lab in Hometown . It is the primary setting of Chapter 2 of Deltarune .
Cyber Field
of Deltarune . It is the first area the party visits. In this area, the party encounters Queen and Berdly , where they must battle at the end of the area in the roller coaster.
Cyber City
Cyber City is an area within the Cyber World in Chapter 2 of Deltarune . It consists of a trash area, the city itself, and a mix of amusement park-themed areas. The party falls into the Trash Zone when the roller coaster's tracks from Cyber Field end. The area also houses the Egg room, where the Forgotten Man resides. The Weird Route can also be started here.
Queen's Mansion
Queen's Mansion is the Cyber World 's final area in Chapter 2 of Deltarune . It is the seat of Queen , who rules over it. It is in the further end of Cyber City , where the party gets captured. Unusually, its overworld music continues to play during battles in most areas, replacing Rude Buster .
TV World
TV World is the Dark World located inside the Dreemurr residence . It is the setting of Chapter 3 of Deltarune .
Flower Kingdom
Flower Kingdom is the Dark World created inside Flower King after the Festival . It is the primary setting of Chapter 5 of Deltarune . It is inaccessible on the Weird Route .
Flower Castle
Flower Castle is an area of the Flower Kingdom in Chapter 5 of Deltarune , following the Cliffs area.
Flower Cafe
Flower Cafe is a sublocation in Flower Castle . It is a place for the party and any recruits gained to relax throughout the latter half of the chapter, and to hang out with every member of the seven flowers (including Pink and excluding Flowery ). Additionally, any recruits are found seated at the south tables. Green is located at the counter, but disappears during a hangout.
Hometown
Hometown is the primary location in Deltarune . It is currently the only Light World area available, and many Lightners met during the game are Hometown residents. In each Chapter , a new Dark World appears somewhere in the town. Events can slightly vary based on if a Completion FILE is used per Chapter. When Kris is in Hometown, the game menu is simplified, resembling that from Undertale , wherein the only options are " STAT ", " ITEM ", and " CELL ". It is impossible to access the Config menu while in Hometown, and SAVE points only appear starting in Chapter 4 .
Dreemurr residence
The Dreemurr residence , also referred to as Kris's House , is the home of Kris and Toriel in Deltarune . It is a tidy two-story home located far north in Hometown , where it is surrounded by trees and has a driveway heading south. Toriel parks her red van in the driveway when she is at home. It serves as the main setting of Chapter 3 's TV World after Kris makes a Dark Fountain inside the living room at the end of Chapter 2 .
School
The school is a five-room building found southeast in Hometown , and east of the library . Kris goes here as one of Alphys 's students, and Toriel teaches the younger students. Toriel brings Kris here for school days after they exit the Dreemurr residence . It houses the closet Dark World , and the Grand Fountain in Castle Town . In Chapter 1 , it also houses the Eastern Fountain and Card Kingdom .
Library
The library (misspelled as "LIBRARBY" on the sign) is a two-story building located in southern Hometown , east of the central road and west of the school . Berdly frequently volunteers as an assistant here. In Chapter 2 , it houses the library Fountain in the Cyber World . Kris and Susie travel there while attempting to work on their group project in the computer lab.
Cafe
The Cafe (spelled Café on the building's exterior) is a building in Castle Town where the party can interact with their recruits . Recruits can be placed at the tables, where they can be interacted with for unique dialogue, usually placing an order for food or drink.
Church
The church is managed by Alvin , and is where Hometown 's Lightners go for service in Deltarune . It is located at the lower end of the central road, left of Town Hall . The nearby west path leads to the graveyard . The church building itself cannot be entered until Chapter 4 , where it later houses the Dark Sanctuaries . Events are altered slightly via Chapter 2 Completion FILE if the Weird Route was pursued.
Closet Dark World
The closet Dark World is the first Dark World that Kris and Susie encounter in Deltarune . The closet Dark World is located in the school 's supply closet and consists of two areas: an unnamed cliffs area and Castle Town , the latter of which houses Ralsei's castle and the Grand Fountain .
Dark Sanctuary
The Dark Sanctuary is a Dark World and the first of the church 's three Dark Sanctuaries in Chapter 4 of Deltarune . It is partially repurposed in the 3rd Sanctuary . After a Completion FILE is made, inspecting the blanket at the start of the Chapter allows Kris to enter this area by choosing to "sleep an incredibly long time". Consequently, Kris misses the entire day in Hometown .
2nd Sanctuary
The 2nd Sanctuary is a Dark World and the second of the church 's three Dark Sanctuaries in Chapter 4 of Deltarune . It is an alternate version of the Dark Sanctuary , given form by Susie when she creates a Dark Fountain in an attempt to return to the Dark Sanctuary after Kris had sealed its Fountain. All of the Darkners that have been encountered in the Dark Sanctuary are present in the 2nd Sanctuary as fossilized versions of themselves, and all of the fossils seen in the Dark Sanctuary have been brought to life.
