DELTARUNE Characters

Kris Dreemurr is the main protagonist of Deltarune . They are the quiet first hero of the prophecy , who becomes braver in later Chapters . Kris lives together with their mother, Toriel , at the Dreemurr residence in northern Hometown . While in a Dark World , Kris functions as the party 's leader, issuing commands, giving equipment , and managing the team's inventory . During battles , Kris specializes in ACTing , and their ACTs have varying effects . Kris wields a sword to deal damage , and can summon a separate, pink shield when DEFENDing . Susie does not have a known home in the Light World , though she acts dismissive towards the east apartments . In the Dark World , she wields an axe in encounters . Susie boasts the highest max HP and Attack in the party , allowing her to tank hits and deal high damage when FIGHTing .

Ralsei is a Darkner prince and one of the main characters of Deltarune . He is the gentle and selfless third hero of the prophecy , though he begins to consider his own feelings in later Chapters . Ralsei rules over Castle Town , where he first appears to inform Kris and Susie of their destiny, and lives in his castle there. During an encounter , Ralsei wields his scarf in combat. Of the three, he has the highest Magic stat , but the lowest Attack and max HP .

Noelle Holiday is one of the main characters of Deltarune . She is one of Kris and Susie 's classmates, as well as the former's neighbor and childhood friend. Her house is located on the northwest side of Hometown . Noelle initially appears timid and kind-hearted, but gradually learns to be more open about her feelings and thoughts in later Chapters . She gains a major role in Chapter 2 , where she temporarily joins the party in Cyber City and wields a ring in encounters , and has a recurring role from Chapter 4 onward. Berdly is a Lightner in Deltarune . He is the self-proclaimed "Number 1" student in Hometown 's school . Berdly is Kris and Noelle 's classmate, the latter of whom being his close friend who he describes as the "Number 2" student in Alphys 's class. He has a minor role in Chapter 1 , but gains relevance in Chapter 2 , where he is fought as a miniboss and is Queen 's ally. His fate varies depending on the player 's choices and route via Completion FILEs . In later Chapters , he returns to being a side Light World character, though with more focus.

Lancer is a Darkner child from Card Kingdom and one of the primary supporting characters of Deltarune . In Chapter 1 , he serves as a recurring miniboss and secondary antagonist, where he attempts to thwart the party , but ultimately becomes friends with them. In Chapter 2 , Lancer enters Kris 's inventory , which allows him to visit the Cyber World with the party and later TV World in Chapter 3 . Since Chapter 4 , he has remained purely in Castle Town .

Serial Number Q5U4EX7YY2E9N , shortened to Queen , is a Darkner who rules the Cyber World . She is the main antagonist and penultimate boss of Chapter 2 of Deltarune . At the end of Chapter 2, she uses her GIGA Queen mecha to fight the party 's Thrash Machine .

Spamton G. Spamton is a Darkner who appears in Chapter 2 of Deltarune and the main antagonist in its portion of the Weird Route . In the Cyber World , he is encountered as a miniboss in Cyber City . If Kris helps him access the basement of Queen's Mansion (either through the LoadedDisk or freezing Berdly ), he transforms into Spamton NEO , which serves as the Shadow Crystal boss of Chapter 2 normally, and as the final boss on the Weird Route .

Jevil is a Darkner in Deltarune . He is the former court jester of Card Kingdom 's King and the Shadow Crystal boss of Chapter 1 . Due to Jevil's sudden change of perspective, he was locked away on a hidden floor in Card Castle . Once defeated, the party earns the Jevilstail or Devilsknife , depending if they choose to ACT or FIGHT respectively.

Rouxls Kaard is a Darkner from the Card Kingdom and a recurring miniboss in Deltarune . He proclaims himself the "Duke of Puzzles" and is a servant of King in Chapter 1 . In Chapter 1, he challenges the party multiple times throughout Card Castle to complete his trivially easy puzzles, then forces the party to rematch against K. Round . In Chapter 2 , he enters the inventory and is taken to the Cyber World , where he attempts to work for Queen and challenges the party in Queen's Mansion as a mini boss. He reappears as a secondary antagonist in Chapter 3 , where he attempts to become Tenna 's second-in-command by forming a polycule with Lanino and Elnina , and fights the party as a miniboss a

King is a Darkner , the father of Lancer , and one of Card Kingdom 's four kings . Following the Knight 's appearance, King usurped the throne from the other three kings and took it upon himself to protect the Eastern Fountain . He is the main antagonist and final boss of Chapter 1 of Deltarune .

Seam ( /ʃɔːm/ SHAWM ) is a character in Deltarune . They are a shopkeeper Darkner from Card Kingdom . Seam is only ever seen inside their " Seap " . In Chapter 1 , it is located in Field . Starting in Chapter 2 , it is relocated to Castle Town , where its exterior is redesigned. Seam has an interest in the Shadow Crystals , and offers to create something with them if the party can collect them.

Asriel Dreemurr is a returning character and Kris 's older brother in Deltarune . He is mentioned by Hometown 's residents, but is away at university and does not appear in the game's first five Chapters . When home, he lives with Kris and his mother, Toriel , in the northern end of Hometown.

Asgore Dreemurr ( /ˈæzɡɔːr ˈdɹiːmər/ AZ-gore DREE-mər ) is a major returning character in Deltarune . The former police chief, he is the father of Kris and Asriel and lives alone at Flower King in Hometown , which he also runs, to minimal success. In Chapter 5 , Asgore becomes the king of Flower Kingdom , a Dark World created in his shop, and serves as the overarching antagonist before coming to his senses.
